UberEATS Launches For Rutgers/Middlesex County​

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — Hey, hungry Rutgers students, here's some news you might be delighted to know: UberEATS is expanding into Middlesex County and Rutgers/New Brunswick! Yes, starting Monday, Sept. 18, UberEATS launched their food-delivery service to the Rutgers New Brunswick community.

The company did their "soft launch" at the beginning of the semester to make sure everything worked smoothly, UberEATs told Patch. The service went live today, Sept. 18. UberEATS is now working to bring you food delivery from some of the best local restaurants.

All you have to do is download the UberEATS app, available on iOS and Android, or go online to ubereats.com, to order from local favorites like Halal Guys or Skylark Diner. UberEATS operates 24/7, so you can get breakfast, lunch, dinner and even those 2 a.m. late-night munchie snacks.

How does UberEATS work?

• Tell us where to deliver – add your home, work, or any other address you’d like
• Browse local restaurants – search for your favorite local spot or try something new
• Check out with a tap – pay with your card already on file with Uber
• Track your order – watch as your order is prepared, picked up, and delivered right to you

UberEATS launched in New Jersey in February of this year, initially focused on Jersey City and Hoboken. From there, they expanded into Bergen County and today marks their entry into the Rutgers/Middlesex County market.
