Update: Police Say A 17-Year-Old Boy, Two Men Were Shot This Weekend In New Brunswick
New Brunswick police say the two shootings may be related, and all three victims have been uncooperative.

A 17-year-old boy was shot in the chest, and two men also suffered gunshot wounds in shootings this weekend in New Brunswick, police said.
All three victims remain hospitalized. A 27-year-old who was shot in the abdomen is listed in critical, but stable condition; the 17-year-old boy and a 22-year-old man, who was shot in the hand and buttocks, are both reported to be in stable condition, police said.
Police said the victims and witnesses have been uncooperative, and detectives are investigating the possibility that the two cases are related.

The 27-year-old was shot on Saturday night outside a home on Mason Avenue, near Pine Street, which is off of Georges Road. The other man and the teen were shot Sunday afternoon, on Class Place, near Route 27.

Around 10:15 p.m. Saturday, police were called to the Mason Avenue neighborhood by someone reporting shots fired.
As officers headed there, they saw a Toyota Camry speeding away. Police stopped that car and found the shooting victim, Shabazz Muhammed, 27, in the backseat with a gunshot wound to his abdomen.
Three other people were also in that car.
Muhammed was escorted to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in the city, where he is reported to be in critical but stable condition.
Around 2:15 p.m. Sunday, Anthony Brown, 22, and 17-year-old boy were shot outside a Class Place home. Both are reported to be in stable condition at Robert Wood Johnson.
