Video Shows Racist Tirade At New Brunswick Sears

Breaking: A man posted this video to Facebook of an incident he says happened at the New Brunswick Sears Monday.

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — A New Brunswick man captured this video Monday of an incident that he says happened in the New Brunswick Sears on Route 1 earlier in the day. The video shows a long line of customers and one female customer becoming very angry and irate. She begins shouting loudly.

She apparently took issue with something the shoppers ahead of her were doing with coupons and then shouts, "Send 'em back to their own f------ country." She then says, "You've got an Indian waiting on an Indian, that's what it is." One of the targets of her shouting, a young woman, turns to her and says to her repeatedly, "That has nothing to do with anything."

At the end of the clip, a man — it is not known if he is a store employee or another shopper — can be heard telling the angry woman, "They are Americans."

"She also questioned if they had green cards afterwards," Scirocco wrote in his Facebook post. "My blood was boiling."

New Brunswick police have received no calls about the incident, Capt. J.T. Miller said. Two store employees who picked up at the Sears said they were not allowed to confirm if the incident happened and transferred Patch to a store manager, who said she would not answer any questions. Scirocco did not immediately reply to Patch's requests to speak with him.
