Volunteers Needed In Middlesex County Parks This Spring

Here are three clean-ups planned:

MIDDLESEX COUNTY, NJ — The Middlesex County Office of Parks and Recreation will hold three organized clean-ups in county parks this spring:

  • 9 a.m. - noon April 11 in South Amboy: Join hundreds of volunteers to clean up the beaches at Raritan Bay Waterfront Park in South Amboy. This clean-up is organized by Clean Ocean Action.
  • 9 a.m. to noon May 16 in Thompson Park in Monroe: Help Rutgers Cooperative Extension improve Thompson Park’s rain garden, shoreline restoration project and hiking trails. Thompson Park in Monroe Twp.
  • Celebrate National Trails Day at Ireland Brook Conservation area in East Brunswick: From 9 a.m. to noon on June 6, help with ongoing restoration projects, invasive species removal and trail maintenance. Ireland Brook Conservation Area in East Brunswick.
