What's With That Giant Elf Overlooking New Brunswick?

The giant Saxum elf is a holiday marketing campaign from Saxum Real Estate, a national real estate firm with an office at 37 Easton Ave.:

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — Why is there a giant elf overlooking the streets of New Brunswick?

It's part of a holiday-themed marketing campaign from Saxum Real Estate, a national real estate investment and development firm with an office in New Brunswick.

Saxum has an office at 37 Easton Avenue in New Brunswick and #TheSaxumElf took up residency on their roof this past Monday, Dec. 5. Prior to that, he was at the Saxum office at Front & Broad in Red Bank.

"This holiday season, the Saxum Elf will visit a total of four rooftops throughout the Saxum portfolio to engage with communities," said the real estate firm. "Saxum will continue to update their social media accounts with his movements. If you see the elf, take a picture and share it with the hashtag #TheSaxumElf."

This is The Saxum Elf’s fifth year travelling throughout New Jersey. The Saxum Elf is almost 12 feet tall. This gigantic figure is a symbol of holiday spirit and a token of Saxum’s appreciation for the communities and downtowns that have welcomed Saxum as a member.

“We are excited to bring the Saxum Elf to New Brunswick again this year. We hope that everyone takes as much joy from this holiday tradition as we do and that it brings of a boost of holiday spirit to New Brunswick,” said Matthew Wassel, principal.
