PISCATAWAY, NJ — A woman remains hospitalized after her car was hit by a freight train Tuesday night in Piscataway.
This happened at approximately 9 p.m. at the train tracks on South Avenue, according to Piscataway Police.
This was a freight train that hit her car. It remains unclear where exactly the woman's car was on the tracks, or if the guardrail was down.

The accident is still under investigation, said Piscataway Police Capt. Warren Morrison Friday morning. There were no other passengers in the car.
