NEW MILFORD, NJ — New Milford residents can shop for books, household items and plants during a series of community sales at the New Milford Public Library this September.
The Friends of the New Milford Public Library will hold its annual book sale Friday and Saturday, Sept. 25–26. A special preview for Friends members is scheduled for Friday from 10 a.m. to noon, followed by public hours from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday's sale runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The town-wide garage sale will take place Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 26–27, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Garage-sale applications are available at the New Milford Public Library, with a Sept. 22 deadline. Maps will be available at the library at 8:30 a.m. Sept. 26 and on the borough website.
A plant sale hosted by the New Milford Garden Group will also be held Saturday, Sept. 26, outside the library entrance.
