• Bergen County Pool Party Was 'Absolute Embarrassment' To Town, Mayor Says (patch.com) — New Milford's mayor is condemning a recent pool party at the privately run New Milford Swim Club as an embarrassment after police broke up a late-night brawl involving more than 100 attendees. Officers from several nearby towns helped disperse the crowd, and while no one was seriously hurt or arrested, the investigation continues and town officials say the event was never authorized by the borough.
