2 Homes Forced Open, Burglarized In New Providence
Detectives are asking any residents that may have video cameras or Ring type doorbells, to review their footage from Saturday night.

NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ — Two homes were reportedly forced open and burglarized over the weekend in New Providence, police said.
The two separate home burglaries were reported on Saturday, Feb. 2 on opposite ends of the Borough. One was reported in the area of Midvale Drive and the other on Ryder Way, New Providence Lt. Daniel Henn said.
Both burglaries are believed to have taken place between 6 and 9 p.m. In both instances, someone forced their way inside the home and personal property was taken, Henn said.

Detectives are asking any residents that may have video cameras or Ring type doorbells, review their footage during this time frame and report anything suspicious. These videos can be emailed to Detective Joe Parlapiano at jparlapiano@nppolice.org or Detective TJ Hoppe at thoppe@nppolice.org.
