NEW PROVIDENCE — The New Providence School District has been named a Best Community for Music Education by the NAMM Foundation for the 15th time.
This streak that places the district among the top five most consistent honorees in New Jersey and first in Union County, the school district said.
The designation, awarded annually by the NAMM Foundation, recognizes districts and schools that demonstrate a high commitment to music education and ensure broad student access to music programs.
Selection is based on the efforts of teachers, administrators, parents, students , and community leaders.
The district credited its teaching staff and students for the continued recognition.
