The event coincides with North Caldwell resident Debbie Prince becoming Chair of the Sharing Network Foundation Board, deepening her family’s long connection to transplant advocacy and community fundraising.    

• Kandel powers Dayton past New Providence (nj.com subscription) — New Providence’s softball team fell 7–3 to Dayton in the sectional semifinals in Springfield, ending its tournament run despite a late three-inning rally. Dayton’s strong early offense and 13-strikeout pitching performance proved too much, as New Providence managed five hits and finished its season at 12–13.
