NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ — The Borough of New Providence is replacing the Oakwood Park Playground with a new facility featuring interactive elements, inclusive play components, fencing, and new surfacing, funded in part by four large grants secured by the borough.
Construction begins this week and is expected to take five to six weeks, during which the playground will be closed to the public. The project also includes repaving and expanding the walkway for improved accessibility and retrofitting the park's bathrooms.
