• Shared Services, Split Costs: Inside the New Providence Borough-BOE Security Agreement (nj21st.com) — New Providence officials have finalized a three‑year shared services agreement to fund three school security officers, splitting wages, training, and uniform costs between the Borough and the Board of Education. Based on a $38 hourly rate and 183 school days, the Borough estimates about $180,000 in annual costs, with roughly half reimbursed by the BOE once it approves the deal.
