The collection will take place in the parking lot at 1 Academy Street.

The event is free and anonymous, with no identification required or questions asked.

According to the borough, residents can bring tablets, capsules, patches and other solid forms of prescription medication.

However, the borough says that sharps and liquids will not be accepted.

"Proper disposal helps prevent misuse and accidental poisoning and protects our environment," the borough said.

Residents can check the official event calendar for more details, including further information on accepted medications.
