NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ — A familiar community tradition is getting a fresh look as Pioneer Day takes over Springfield Avenue this weekend.
The event, presented by New Providence Business, is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 25, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., along Springfield Avenue between South Street and Gales Drive.
The former New Providence Street Fair has been upgraded to Pioneer Day, bringing new attractions while maintaining familiarity.
The borough says visitors can expect additions including children's zones and a greater New Providence presence.
The event will feature craft vendors, a beer garden, food, live music and children's rides. Pets are also welcome.
For more information about Pioneer Day, residents can call the borough at 908-665-1400.
