Bailey Is Berkeley Heights' Pet Of The Week

BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ — Meet Bailey! She has been chosen as New Providence-Berkeley Heights Patch's Pet Of The Week.

"Bailey is our chocolate lab named after "Bailey's Irish Cream". She has been the matriarch of our home for almost 13 years.

She has been a loving family member who has gotten us through many challenging times, always there to greet us with a wagging tail or a loving nudge for some loving.

Bailey is one of the smartest animals around, even learning how to open the back door to the yard to re-enter our previous home and then shut it herself (see video below). She's an old girl who couldn't be loved more by her family!!"

Be sure to include a photograph or two of your pet, a paragraph about what makes him or her so great, and the part of town you're from. You can choose to include your name, but you don't need to. Then just keep an eye out for a photo of your pet on the Patch!

The photo can be of a present pet, or it can be a baby picture of the adult pet you're so proud of today.
