Berkeley Heights​ Interim Superintendent To Resign Friday

The Berkeley Heights Board of Education will appoint a new permanent superintendent of schools at its public meeting on April 25.

BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ — Berkeley Heights Interim Superintendent of Schools Dr. Richard Noonan is resigning from his position effective Friday, April 12 due to personal reasons after having served the district since October 1, 2018.

Scott McKinney, who has served as the district’s assistant superintendent since 2015, will be appointed as interim superintendent of schools effective Saturday, April 13 through June 30.

"We would like to thank Dr. Noonan for stepping in and serving as Interim Superintendent," said Doug Reinstein, President of the Berkeley Heights Board of Education. "His professional experience, expertise, and leadership style have enabled the Berkeley Heights Public Schools to continue to function at a very high level during the 2018-2019 school year."
