Love the look of flowers in our small town? Right after Mother’s Day, yellow lantana and purple  scavola are slated to appear in the hanging baskets mounted to light poles, adding beauty and charm to Downtown Berkeley Heights. Help make this happen—be a part of this annual tradition by sponsoring a Spring basket.

Each large basket contains both flowers and greenery. Sponsorship is $150 per basket and pays for the plants. Hall’s Garden Center donates the labor to plant each basket, and the DPW waters them throughout the season.

Jeanne Kingsley, Berkeley Heights Council President and Founder of the Downtown Beautification Committee, said, “We are grateful to the caring, involved people of Berkeley Heights. Each year, businesses, neighborhood groups, and individuals have sponsored these flower baskets in a show of support for our Downtown businesses and to make Downtown more welcoming for residents and visitors.”
