Berkeley Heights Township : Visit The Easter Bunny Coming To Town On Saturday

The Easter Bunny is making a special trip to Berkeley Heights for a drive-by visit in front of the Berkeley Heights Volunteer Fire Department headquarters on Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the annual Easter Egg Hunt and Easter Bunny visit at Autumn Lake Healthcare was canceled for the second consecutive year. The Easter Bunny didn't want to disappoint the children of Berkeley Heights, so he arranged a special "pop-up" socially distant drive-by visit to get the community in the spirit of Easter. 

Mayor Angie Devanney was excited to hear the Easter Bunny could hop over to the Fire Department on Saturday and arranged for the police, rescue squad and fire department to be part of the festivities.

he police will be directing traffic and ask that cars turn onto Hamilton Avenue from Plainfield Avenue for the best visit with the Easter Bunny. Families are asked to stay in their cars during this "pop-up" drive-by visit.
