Bottle & Bottega Finds A Home In Berkley Heights

After hosting more than 200 mobile events all over Union County and surrounding areas in just over a year, Bottle & Bottega owner Rupa Kale is finally planting her roots in Berkley Heights with the opening of her own studio.

Bottle & Bottega, located at 472 Springfield Ave, is a creative experience for anyone with any level of artistic ability that provides a hands-on approach to guided art tutorials in a relaxing, yet social, B.Y.OB. environment.

Kale, a former corporate financer, seized the opportunity to carry the Bottle & Bottega franchise into New Jersey after hearing about the business from a friend in the summer of 2012. By August she pitched a business plan to the franchise’s home office in Chicago and held her first event six months later at the Famished Frog in Morristown.

“I’m a very creative person,” said Kale. “I’ve always loved art and I’ve dabbled in a lot of different art forms.”

She has since built up a community of seven artists from all different walks of life who teach her Bottle & Bottega classes.  Kale caters to all types of different occasions including birthdays, girl’s night out, bachelorette parties, and corporate events.

Kale will host an event every evening in the new studio, which will have two separate storefronts, giving Bottles & Bottega the ability to run two classes at one time - afternoon events can also be booked. Weekends will be filled with an array of different classes for all ages through out the day.

Even though Bottle & Bottega will be working out of a studio, Kale says mobile events will still be offered.
