Dog of the Week: Help Foxy Find His Forever Home

Male Keeshond/Shetland Sheepdog/Sheltie mix needs a home. Will it be yours?

Foxy is a male Keeshond/Shetland Sheepdog/Sheltie mix. He is between 6 and 7 years old and weighs about 40 pounds and is fully grown. Foxy is a happy dog. He loves other dogs, cats, and people. He is very outgoing and social. Although Foxy is a senior dog, he is playful and ready to please. His owners were moving and had to give him up. Now he is New Jersey with a local foster family awaiting adoption. Foxy is up to date with his vaccinations, neutered, and micro-chipped.

For more information on Foxy or any of the other dogs available through Home for Good Dog Rescue, visit the Home for Good website, call 908-598-8212 or email info@hfgdr.org. If you are considering adopting Foxy or one of the other Home for Good dogs, please complete an online application. A pre-approved application is required for all “meet and greets” and adoptions.

Author’s note: Congratulations to Home for Good Dog Rescue on their 3rd Anniversary and happy 3rd birthday to our dog Brady. Brady was only 8 weeks old when he was scheduled to be euthanized at a Georgia animal control facility. Thanks to the good people at Home for Good Dog Rescue, Brady’s life was saved. Brady was transported to New Jersey where he was adopted by the author and his partner. We are glad that Brady is a part of our family and thankful to Home for Good Dog Rescue for their efforts.
