DOG OF THE WEEK - HAPPY

Happy is a 14-week old Shepherd mix puppy that was rescued from a high kill shelter in Southern Georgia. She has soft fur and velvety smooth ears. Her name suits her perfectly because she really is a happy girl. Happy is a very gentle and calm puppy. Like most puppies, she enjoys playing too.

Happy was a bit shy when she arrived in NJ but with the help of her foster family, she is adjusting to family life and has become more comfortable in her new surroundings. Happy is really a sweet and affectionate dog. She loves to cuddle and getting belly rubs. Happy is doing very well with her housebreaking and crate training. She is great with kids and enjoys playing with other dogs. Happy will make a great addition to any family. Happy is spayed, up to date with her vaccinations, and micro-chipped.

For more information on Happy or any of the other dogs available through Home for Good Dog Rescue visit the Home for Good website(www.homeforgooddogs.org), call (908) 598-8212 or email info@hfgdr.org. About Home for Good Dog Rescue:

Home for Good is a volunteer-based, 501(c) (3) non-profit animal rescue. We are a 100 percent foster based organization with an office in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey. Our organization is dedicated to rescuing dogs from deplorable conditions in kill shelters, tending to their physical needs and finding them a new loving home where they can thrive.

At Home for Good, we seek the best treatment for our animals. We provide medical care, training, support and hope. Our dogs are vaccinated and ID micro-chipped. We rescue puppies and dogs that are facing euthanasia. Some require surgery from a specialist to repair broken limbs, while others may need additional rehabilitation time and specific medical care for respiratory illnesses, skin infections, heartworm treatments, and emergency surgeries. Through our adoption services, these loving animals are given a chance at a happy and fulfilled life.
