DOG OF THE WEEK – Help Esther find her Forever Home

Esther is between 2-3 years old.  She is named Esther after the famous swimmer, Esther Williams. She loves to swim, and loves the water. She also gets along well with other dogs and children. There is not much Esther does not like. She is a very easy going dog and would do well in any household, especially an active one.

According to Esther's foster family, Esther enjoys activity such as running and swimming. She is a very fast runner. Esther is very well behaved and made quick friends with the foster family’s children and 9-month-old adopted puppy. Esther also likes sun bathing on the deck, having her belly rubbed and listening to classical music. She's a wonderful addition to any home. Esther is housebroken, up to date with her vaccinations, spayed and micro-chipped.

For more information on Esther or any of the other dogs available through Home for Good Dog Rescue visit the Home for Good website (www.homeforgooddogs.org), call (908) 598-8212 or email info@hfgdr.org. If you are considering adopting Esther or one of the other Home for Good dogs, please complete an online application.  A pre-approved application is required for all “meet and greets” and adoptions.

About Home for Good Dog Rescue:

Home for Good is a volunteer-based, 501(c) (3) non-profit animal rescue. We are a 100 percent foster based organization with an office in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey. Our organization is dedicated to rescuing dogs from deplorable conditions in kill shelters, tending to their physical needs and finding them a new loving home where they can thrive.

At Home for Good, we seek the best treatment for our animals. We provide medical care, training, support and hope. Our dogs are vaccinated and ID micro-chipped. We rescue puppies and dogs that are facing euthanasia. Some require surgery from a specialist to repair broken limbs, while others may need additional rehabilitation time and specific medical care for respiratory illnesses, skin infections, heartworm treatments, and emergency surgeries. Through our adoption services, these loving animals are given a chance at a happy and fulfilled life.
