Fall Registration going on NOW at The Connection

 The Connection’s Fall programs have something for everyone!  

 Fall Registration is going on NOW! The Fall Session – running from September 6th through November 20th – is filled with a variety of classes and activities for all ages. 

 In addition to the ongoing Parent/Child, Preschool, School Age , Gymnastic, Dance, Swimming and Adult Fitness classes, The Connection is introducing a number of new programs which will compliment the brand new facility.

 Gymnastic, Dance and Specialty classes for Parent/Child ages has “Planes, Trains, and Automobiles” (Ages 1-2; Thurs. 10:15-11:00am) a class revolving around all types of transportation – songs, games, circle time and stories guide parents as their children develop their jumping, climbing, throwing and social skills. Preschool age now has “Cartwheels and Crafts” (Ages 3-5; Fri. 9:15-11:15am) a class featuring gymnastics, games and crafts along with a healthy snack and “Broadway Babies” (Ages 3-5; Fri. 11:15am-1:15pm) which includes dance, musical theater and a healthy snack. Both Parent/Child and Preschool ages has “Drum Beats” (Ages 3-4 & 4-5; varying days/times) which allows children to beat their own drum while learning about the art and culture of various African countries.

 School Age now has “Cooking with Mrs. B” (Grades K-5; Mon. 3:45pm & 4:45pm) a class where kids can cook with our celebrity chef, Mrs. Maryanne Bauer and “Lights, Camera, Action” (Grades K-5; Wed. 3:45pm & 4:45pm) a non-competitive performing arts class that includes singing, dancing, theater, make-up and set-design.

 Swimming for all ages (6 months +) now includes new classes and times. Children as young as 6 months can join “Tiny Tugboats” (varying days/times), a Parent/Child class that teaches infants to feel comfortable in the water while exploring floating and changing body position. School age swimming is introducing a new advanced, teacher recommended “Pre-Team Workout” levels 1-3 (varying days/times) which is designed to help young athletes develop and improve their skills and talents.

 Group Fitness is featuring classes like: “Ageless Yoga” (Mon. 7:45-8:45am) a slower paced class that incorporates yoga moves with an emphasis on stretching, joint flexibility and improving range of motion in joints; “Cardio Blast” (Tues. 5:30-6:30pm) a mix of cardiovascular activity and contemporary choreography and “Group Ex Rotation” (Sat. 7:30-8:30am) a class that rotates its content each week between classes like Zumba, Intervals and Boot Camp.
