American Legion Post 433 will observe the retirement of several thousand unserviceable flags in a memorable service at the Post Home on Elkwood Avenue in New Providence. The ceremonies will start promptly at 7:00 PM and conclude at approximately 8:00 PM. This is a rain or shine event. Seating is provided for those requiring it, however, personal rain gear is recommended (weather dependent) as the proceedings are held outdoors to accomodate the open conflagration.
