Friends of Florham, a group dedicated to the preservation of the former Twombly estate, now home of the College at Florham at Fairleigh Dickinson University, invites you to hear Justin Martin, author of Genius in Place: The Life of Frederick Law Olmstead, Designer of Central Park. Martin’s prior work includes two highly praised biographies, Greenspan: The Man Behind Money and Nadar: Crusador, Spoiler, Icon. A compelling story, it tells how America’s first landscape architect helped to sculpt this country’s urban landscapes and private gardens. The lecture is a fundraiser and the admission fee includes a wine a cheese reception. All proceeds go toward the preservation work of Friends of Florham.
