Blackman, will speak at Fairleigh Dickinson University about Martin Luther King, Jr.’s quote “whatever affects one indirectly affects all indirectly”. She will also be addressing her book, “A Mom’s Story,” which is based on her
experience with her daughter’s struggle with Lupus. The presentation is sponsored by FDU’s Educational Opportunity Fund program, the Dean of Students Office, and the Diversity Council. Blackmon’s presentation will be held in
Lenfell Hall and a question-and-answer period will follow her lecture as well as a book signing.
