NP PAL Open Mat Night

On Friday, October 21, 2011 from 7pm to 8:30pm, the New Providence PAL will conduct its 6^th  Annual Open Mat Night for all children in grades 1^st through 6^th and their parents interested in learning about the sport of wrestling.  The event will be conducted at the New Providence High School in the main gymnasium on Pioneer Drive.  At the Open Mat Night, New Providence High School Wrestling Coach Gary Bremer and the PAL coaches will conduct demonstrations and run mini-clinics for the children to illustrate wrestling moves and the way wrestling matches are conducted.  Parents will be able to obtain information about the sport in general and about the New Providence Junior Bulldogs, the PAL wrestling team.  Information regarding registration for the upcoming 2011-2012 season will also be available.   

The PAL is also accepting applications from anyone interested in coaching youth wrestling this season.  For further information, please contact Adam Smith at smithad612@verizon.net.
