‘Trusted Advisor’ Charles Green To Address Wharton Business Club Jan. 20

Corporate scandals and Ponzi schemes have eroded trust in the business community.  Yet trusted relationships are critical, particularly in service firms.  Charles H. Green, co-author of "The Trusted Advisor" and author of "Trust-based Selling," will discuss how to use the principles of trusted relationships to guide complex, high-ticket sales with the Wharton Club of New Jersey at 6 p.m. Jan. 20 at Cucina Calandra.

Green, founder and chief executive officer of Trusted Advisor Associates, works with such blue-chip firms as Deloitte, Johnson & Johnson, Microsoft and Kraft Foods to improve trust in sales, internal trust between organizations and trusted advisor relationships with clients.  He will discuss:

  • Myths about trust
  • The six toughest sales questions
  • The six "trust temperaments"
  • Ten trustworthy things you can do tomorrow
  • Whether trust and sales can co-exist

A graduate of Harvard Business School, Green has spent 20 years in management consulting, focusing on trust since 1997.
