Far Hills Country Day School (Far Hills) will host a Lower School Admission Open House for Prekindergarten through Grade 4 on Thursday, April 7 from 9-10:30 a.m. on its campus located at 697 US-202, Far Hills, New Jersey. This event is free and open to the public.

The Lower School Open House is an opportunity to tour classrooms, talk to teachers and school leaders and hear first-hand from current parents and students about why Far Hills is their educational choice. Attendees will also learn:

  • how Far Hills’ expert teachers offer instructional differentiation in their classrooms and tailor their teaching to how each child learns best
  • why balance matters and how the school teaches both academic and character development
  • the importance of developing real-world skills like teamwork, resilience, creative problem-solving, creativity, and time management through the Mission Skills Assessment, a program for assessing the development of “intangible” skills
  • how to select the best prekindergarten program for your child and why it matters
  • how the school ensures continued academic success beyond a child’s years at Far Hills through its secondary school counseling program with 85+ years of placement at the finest boarding and day schools in the country

“Visiting Far Hills is the very best way to learn about everything our school has to offer. Attending an Open House will help you decide if Far Hills is the right fit for your child and family,” said Kevin Donnelly, Director of Admission and Enrollment Management.
