NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ — Meet Fiona! She has been chosen as New Providence-Berkeley Heights Patch's Pet Of The Week.

"Fiona joined our family from Home For Good Dogs in May of this year. Full of energy, Fiona enjoys sprinting around the yard like a black lightning bolt, chasing fireflies and tennis balls. Best of all, she's an absolute sweetheart: well-behaved around new faces and always looking to say hi to other dogs she meets on her long walks around town."

Participating in the Pet of the Week happenings is simple: submit your nomination by emailing alexis.tarrazi@patch.com with subject line "New Providence-Berkeley Heights Pet Of The Week." Be sure to include a photograph or two of your pet, a paragraph about what makes him or her so great, and the town you're from.

You can choose to include your name, but you don't need to. Then just keep an eye out for a photo of your pet on the Patch!

The photo can be of a present pet, or it can be a baby picture of the adult pet you're so proud of today. All photos must be property of the submitter.
