Free Diabetes Screening In Union, April 29

About 79 million American adults have prediabetes and most do not know. People with prediabetes are likely to develop Type 2 Diabetes within 10 years, unless they take action to prevent or delay the disease. Diabetes is the leading cause of heart disease, stroke, blindness, kidney disease and nerve disease. 

Take a first step toward controlling your health and participate within a FREE Diabetes screening provided by Overlook Medical Center. Registration is required. 
The screening will include the following: 
• Blood Pressure , BMI-Body Mass Index, Blood Glucose Test 
• If your test results indicate further screening for prediabetes, an
A-1 C Blood Test will be offered at no charge (a $10.00 value)

Time: 4:00 pm—6:00 pm 

When: Tuesday, April 29, 2014
