Power Almost Fully Restored In New Providence And Summit
JCP&L has restored power to all customers in New Providence and Summit following a storm Tuesday.

NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ — JCP&L has almost fully restored power to the more than 300 homes in New Providence and Summit that were without power as powerful thunderstorms rolled through Central Jersey Tuesday.
At 3 p.m., a total of 348 JCP&L customers in New Providence were without power and fewer than five customers in Summit.
As of 6:30 p.m. fewer than five New Providence customers remain without power and zero in Summit.

Customers who lose power can inform JCP&L by using one of the following methods:
- Call the toll-free, 24-hour Outage Reporting Line, 1-888-LIGHTSS(1-888-544-4877), or
- Report the outage online, or
- Report the outage via text message. Text REG to 544487 (LIGHTS) to get started.
