NEW PROVIDENCE/BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ — As the New Year kicks off and students begin to return to school, here are some important school dates to keep in mind for the remainder of the 2017-18 school year.

New Providence School District:

• Jan . 2 - Schools Reopen
• Jan. 15 (Martin Luther King Day) - No School - Staffs Development
• Jan. 24 to 26 - Early Dismissal, Kindergarten Only
• Feb. 16 to 20 (President's Day) - No School
• March 30 (Good Friday) - No School
• April 16 to April 20 - Spring Recess - No School
• May 28 (Memorial Day) - No School
• June 21 - Early Dismissal, Last Day for Students and Teachers

Berkeley Heights Public Schools:

• Jan . 2 - Schools Reopen
• Jan. 15 (Martin Luther King Day) - No School
• Feb. 16 to 19 (President's Day) - No School - Mid-Winter Recess
• March 26 to March 30 (Good Friday) - No School - Spring Recess
• April 2 - Schools Reopen
• May 28 (Memorial Day) - No School
• June 18 - CMS Promotion – Early Dismissal for Students
• June 19 - GLHS Commencement – Early Dismissal
