Kean University, UCC Now Closed Tuesday

Kean University's main campus​ and Union County College are not closed on Tuesday, due to inclement weather.

UNION COUNTY, NJ — Kean University's main campus and Union County College are now closed on Tuesday, Feb. 12, due to inclement weather, the colleges announced Tuesday.

Both colleges had initially issued a delayed opening on Monday night.

Governor Phil Murphy declared a state of emergency on Monday night and a winter storm warning was issued for Sussex, Passaic, Morris, Somerset, Hunterdon and Warren counties while a winter weather advisory was declared for the rest of the state, except for Cape May County.
