NEW PROVIDENCE-BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ — Meet Leroy Brown! He has been chosen as New Providence-Berkeley Heights Patch's Pet Of The Week.

"Four years ago we were lucky enough to have Leroy Brown chose us to be his humans. Leroy Brown was abandoned as a kitten and was wandering in a parking lot when he found us. We were more than happy to give him his forever home.

Leroy Brown has endless love to give and brings joy to all those who meet him. He loves to play and snuggle.We call him a cat-dog because he loves to play fetch.

Participating in the Pet of the Week happenings is simple: submit your nomination by emailing alexis.tarrazi@patch.com. Be sure to include a photograph or two of your pet, a paragraph about what makes him or her so great, and the part of town you're from. You can choose to include your name, but you don't need to. Then just keep an eye out for a photo of your pet on the Patch!

The photo can be of a present pet, or it can be a baby picture of the adult pet you're so proud of today. Videos are also welcomed!
