Library's Strategic Plan Identifies Five Key Areas
The New Providence Memorial Library Trustees have identified Programming, Marketing, Technology, Facilities, and Finance as top priorities.
Planning ahead for the maximum use of resources and best delivery of library services, the Trustees of the New Providence Memorial Library have identified Programming, Marketing, Technology, Facilities and Finance as the key areas of focus in the library’s 2016 - 2020 Strategic Plan. The Plan is posted on the library’s website, www.newprovidencelibrary.org.
In the library’s recent survey, respondents indicated what they want most from their library. It includes more books and e-books, great programs, wider publicity, and upgrades to the library’s technology.

That the library provides free access to the Internet, and computers with MS Word and Excel? Over 12,000 free computer sessions were provided to library visitors in 2015.
That the library provides free wifi? That over 40 distinct users connect every day? That’s over 14,000 a year in free wifi sessions.
