Mercedes Benz Stolen From Berkeley Heights Driveway
The luxury car was stolen while parked in the driveway of a Spring Ridge Drive home in Berkeley Heights, police report.

BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ — A 2015 Mercedes Benz was reportedly stolen while parked in the driveway of a Spring Ridge Drive home on June 6 at 12:22 a.m.
Patrolman Jeanne-Marie Mocarski determined through video that the theft occurred at 9:55 p.m. on June 5.
The suspect in this theft is a black male, who was dropped off in a dark colored, sports utility vehicle, possible a Jeep Cherokee, police report.

Anyone with information on either the driver or the Jeep is asked to contact the Detective Bureau at 908-464-1111.

On May 31 at 8:41 p.m.: Patrolman Thomas Marshall arrested Travail Boone, 23, of Plainfield, for an outstanding warrant out of West Orange for $200 during a motor vehicle stop on Plainfield Avenue. Boone was issued a summons for maintenance of lamps and was released after posting bail.
On June 3 at 1:03 a.m.: Patrolman Ronald DeSimoni arrested Fernando Salvatiera, 28, of Union for an outstanding warrant out of Westfield for $89 during a motor vehicle stop on Springfield Avenue. Salvatiera was released after posting bail.
On June 3 at 10:02 p.m.: Patrolman Frank Mea was dispatched to the area of Plainfield Avenue and Mountain Avenue on report of a disabled vehicle. Patrolman Mea made contact with the driver, who he determined to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. Jessica Healey, 37, of Piscataway was arrested for driving while intoxicated, processed and released to a third party. Healey was charged with driving while intoxicated and refusal to submit to chemical breath test.
On June 6 at 8:55 p.m.: Patrolman Andrew Horan and Patrolman John Falivene arrested the following individuals during the course of a motor vehicle stop on Plainfield Ave:
Rene Arenas, 38, of Dunellen was arrested for driving while intoxicated, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana under 50 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia and being under the influence of controlled dangerous substance. He was additionally issued summonses for careless driving, driving while intoxicated, driving while suspended and failure to exhibit documents. He was later released pending a mandatory court appearance in the Union County Superior Court.
Alex Martell, 41, of Newark was arrested for possession of cocaine, possession of heroin, possession of marijuana under 50 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia, being under the influence of controlled dangerous substance and an outstanding warrant out of Piscataway for $3,228. He was transferred to the custody of Piscataway on their warrant after processing.
On June 6 at 12:08 a.m.: Patrolman Jean-Marie Mocarski took a report from a victim of a theft from Lifetime Fitness, located at 25 Connell Dr. The victim reports that he was at the basketball courts at Lifetime Fitness from 9 to 11 p.m., where he placed his wallet, keys and cell phone on the floor while he played. Upon returning to his belongings his wallet was missing. Anyone with information is asked to call the Detective Bureau at 908-464-1111.
