Milling, Paving Work Begins Wednesday on Springfield Avenue
This is the second stage of the NJ American Water Co water main replacement project.

BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ — Beginning Wednesday, milling and paving will take place on Springfield Avenue in Berkeley Heights, police announce.
The construction will be done between Plainfield Avenue and the Somerset County Line from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
This is the second stage of the NJ American Water Co water main replacement project.

"We recommend avoiding the area during the hours the milling and paving is taking place to avoid congestion," Berkeley Heights Police posted.
There is no parking along Springfield Avenue during the day and notices will be posted along the route. Police officers will be on site to assist with traffic control, however delays and temporary road closures should be expected.
