Milling, Paving Work To Impact Traffic In New Providence, Summit
Roadwork will begin on Springfield Avenue on Monday to repair the damage from the new water main installation in New Providence and Summit.

NEW PROVIDENCE/SUMMIT, NJ — Roadwork will begin on Springfield Avenue on Monday to repair the damage from the new water main installation in New Providence and Summit.
Milling will begin Monday at 7 a.m. from the Summit side of Constantine Avenue, at intersection of Passaic Avenue in Summit, and progress into New Providence, ending at the Maple Street intersection. Paving will then begin at the same time and place on Tuesday following the same path.
Eastbound traffic, headed toward Summit from New Providence, will be detoured at Maple Street around the construction. Westbound traffic, coming into New Providence from Summit, will be open.
