New Providence-Berkeley Heights - Are You Ready For This Year's Relay Rally?

Relay For Life of Berkeley Heights, Mountainside, New Providence, and Summit will be holding a Relay Rally on September 5, 2014 at 7 p.m.

Relay For Life of Berkeley Heights, Mountainside, New Providence, and Summit will be holding a Relay Rally on September 5, 2014 at 7 p.m. to kick off 2015 event planning and celebrate the partnership between the American Cancer Society (ACS) and Stand Up 2 Cancer (SU2C).

This event will be held at the Berkeley Heights Convalescent and Rehabilitation Center on Cottage Street in Berkeley Heights, at 7 p.m. on Friday, September 5, 2014.

It is a joint viewing party for a very exciting network television event celebrating the new ACS and SU2C partnership, and kicking off the event planning for our Division-leading Relay For Life event.

All community members who may be interested in joining the event leadership team should plan to attend this event.

The event chairs this year are Patti Broccoli, James Finley and Linda Weber. They will be sharing information about exciting changes to the event for 2015, roles on the leadership team that need to be filled, and thanking all of the volunteers who have helped make this Relay the #1 event in the Eastern Division (all of NY and NJ) for the fourth year in a row.

Relay For Life is an American Cancer Society-sponsored event that gives the communities of Berkeley Heights, Mountainside, New Providence, Summit and surrounding towns the opportunity to come together and Celebrate life, cancer survivorship and caregivers; Remember those lost to this dread disease; and Fight Back against cancer by raising money for patient programs and ground-breaking research being done every day. The event brings together our communities, but also joins people from all generations and walks of life.
