New Providence To Host Storm Debris Cleanup
Collection will begin on March 26 and residents are asked to place the brush on the curb no later than 6 a.m.

NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ — A special collection of brush will be held on March 26 in New Providence due to recent Nor'easter.
Collection will begin on March 26 and residents are asked to place the brush on the curb no later than 6 a.m. Crews will only be in each area one-time.
Here are some guidelines for the cleanup:

- No brush larger than 8 inches in diameter permitted.
- No brush longer than 6 feet.
- Cut end toward street at an angle
- Do not block sidewalks
- Do not allow brush to project into the roadway
Several crews will be deployed starting on the southern (Mountain Avenue) end of town. They will work continuously – weather permitting – toward the northern (Passaic River) end of town.
