New Providence National Night Out 2018
The event will coincide with the borough's Summer Concert Series featuring the Elefante Family Band at 6 p.m.
NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ — The New Providence Police Department will host the borough's National Night Out Tuesday, Aug. 7 at 6 p.m. at Centennial Park.
National Night Out is an initiative in which people in towns across the country gather at their homes, on their streets, and at their local community centers in recognition of their support of the community. It helps strengthen the partnership between the community and police.
The event will coincide with the borough's Summer Concert Series featuring the Elefante Family Band at 6 p.m. There will also be a face painter and magician and additional activities presented by the New Providence Police, Fire, EMS, and Recreation Departments.
