New Providence Passes School Funding Referendum

New Providence voters came out in favor of passing a $15.9 million dollar referendum to bring improvements to the town's schools.

The referendum passed 69.5% to 30.5% with 1,418 voting.

Funding will now be given to create specialty STEM classrooms, and increase classrooms to bolster enrollment. Other projects to get funding include upgrading security and renovating the buildings themselves.
