New Providence PBA To Host Coat Drive

NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ — The New Providence Policeman’s Benevolent Association is once again hosting their annual coat drive.

They will be collecting clean, gently-used coats beginning Nov. 1 and concluding Dec. 10. Drop off a coat in the box in the lobby of the police department, located at 360 Elkwood Ave.

The department's collection partner, Jersey Cares, plans to collect and distribute more than 30,000 "gently used" winter coats to men, women and children in need throughout New Jersey through The 22nd Annual Jersey Cares Coat Drive.

Over the past 21 years, Jersey Cares has collected, sorted and distributed more than 500,000 coats for New Jersey residents through the Annual Coat Drive.
