The New Providence Police Department is participating in No-Shave November to raise awareness of men's cancers.

NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ — The New Providence Police Department is participating in No-Shave November to raise awareness of men’s cancers.

The event is a month-long journey during which participants forgo shaving and grooming in order to evoke conversation and raise cancer awareness.

"Members are making donations that are being matched by the PBA and encourage others to donate to the charity of their choice," New Providence Police and New Providence Office of Emergency Management posted.
