New Providence Police Promote, Hire Officers
Theresa Gazaway was promoted to the rank of Captain. Christian Cely and Andrew Lynch were hired as two new New Providence Police Officers.

NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ — The New Providence Police Department promoted one officer and hire two new officers at the Monday council meeting.
Theresa Gazaway was promoted to the rank of Captain. She began with the police department in 1995 working in various positions and ranks in her 22 year tenure.
Also, Patrolman Christian Cely and Patrolman Andrew Lynch were hired as two new officers to the ranks of the New Providence Police Department.

"The process to select these Officers is very in depth and we believe that they will seamlessly fit into this community," New Providence Police posted on Facebook.
