UPDATE: Power Restored To Many Union County Homes

Homes across Union County reported outages due to the winter storm. Almost all of the outages have been restored Tuesday.

NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ — Homes across Union County reported outages due to the winter storm. Almost all of the outages have been restored Tuesday, March 14.

Most of the outages were reported in New Providence with 49 homes out of the 5,233 JCP&L customers. Power has since been restored.

PSE&G had also reported outages in Elizabeth and Mountainside. Power has since been restored to Mountainside homes.

As of 8 p.m. on March 14, 11 Elizabeth homes still do not have power and fewer than 5 homes in each Union Township and Westfield Township are without power.
