New Providence Residents Can Get Free Lead Testing For Consumer Products Thursday
The Westfield Regional Health Department will test toys, ceramics, spices, cosmetics and more for lead June 11 from 6–7 p.m.
NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ - Residents wondering whether everyday household items contain lead have a free opportunity to find out this week.
The Westfield Regional Health Department is hosting a Lead Testing: Consumer Products Check event Thursday, June 11, from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Mountainside Library, 1 Constitution Plaza, Mountainside.
The event is open to anyone looking to test items such as toys, ceramics, spices, or cosmetics for lead content.

No registration is required and walk-ins are welcome. There is a five-item limit per person. The event is hosted for educational purposes only.
