New Providence Schools Release Summer Reading Assignments

Lists for elementary, middle and high school students are now available under each school site's shortcuts.

NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ — Summer reading lists are now posted for New Providence students at every grade level, the school district announced.

Families can find the lists by visiting the homepage of each school's website and clicking the Summer Reading button under Site Shortcuts. Separate lists are available for New Providence High School, New Providence Middle School and the district's elementary schools, Salt Brook and Allen W. Roberts.

The New Providence Memorial Library is partnering with the school district to help students find their required reading materials over the summer months, with titles available through the library's catalog.

The library carries requirements for rising K-6 students, rising seventh and eighth graders, and rising ninth through 12th graders, whose language arts reading requirements vary based on course selection.
